We are proud to be a part of the Seventh-day Adventist education system which from the very beginning of the church in 1863 has focused on the importance of education and healthcare in improving people's lives. In fact in 2012, Seventh-day Adventists run the second-largest denominational education system in the world, second only to Catholic schools. It is the goal of Seventh-day Adventists to provide quality creation based schools where they are needed around the world.

One of the founding principles of the Seventh-day Adventist church is a healthy lifestyle—a balanced combination of exercise, diet, and trust in God. At Knoxville Adventist School, we adhere to these principles by providing vegetarian meals, plenty of exercise and a Bible based curriculum  for our students.

•    KAS is a private Christian K-10 school, fully- accredited by the National Council for Private School Accreditation.

•    KAS has served the community since 1910 and as a private Christian school, religious classes and the teaching of moral values are a focal point of the school program.

•    KAS accepts students of all religious faiths.

•    Small classroom environments nurture individualized teaching and strong academics.

•    KAS runs an educational program that incorporates the belief that each student is unique and of inestimable value.

•    KAS stresses the importance of educating the whole child: mental, physical, and spiritual, along with community service.

•    Students enrolled at KAS achieve higher than the national norm in all grades tested, and in all subjects, regardless of class size or number of grades in classes.

•    Studies show that the longer a student attends a Seventh-day Adventist school, the higher his/her achievement and ability.  Students consistently achieve at a higher level than is predicted by their ability, as measured by the Cognitive Abilities Test, regardless of school size.
