Acrofest 2015
To All Gymnasts Willing to Improve their Skills,
Georgia-Cumberland Academy is hosting its annual gymnastics clinic February 7 and February 8, 2015. Beth Wolters, Nat Davis, and Southern's Gym Masters will be the featured clinicians. The stations will focus on Acrosports, tossing, pyramids, tumbling, three-highs and other activities to build gymnastics skills. Sunday there will be a program that will give everyone a chance to perform. Parents are encouraged to come and watch.
We will start registration on Saturday night at 6:30 in the gym lobby and continue until the first clinic. Make sure to have all the paperwork ready. The clinic will start about 7:00 and will continue to about 10:00. Sunday's clinics will start at 8:00 a.m. and continue up until the final performance at 3:30.
Each participant will receive a t-shirt, a snack Saturday night, breakfast and lunch on Sunday and housing for $35. Sponsors are required. One sponsor will be free, but any additional sponsor has to pay a fee of $15 that includes a t-shirt, food and housing.
ALL participants MUST have their parents or guardians sign the accompanying registration/consent form or they will not be allowed to take part in the clinic. Enclosed is a copy of the registration/consent form. Please run as many copies as necessary for EACH person who wants to attend. There is also an option to register online. Please visit www.gcasda.org and click on Acroflyers.
This event will be beneficial to all, especially those without a lot of prior experience. The clinics will teach to different levels of talent. Do not miss the opportunity to learn and have fun.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact. We will look forward to seeing everyone. Sincerely,
Bruce Boggess
